About

Welcome! If you're here, you probably already know a little about me so I'll just give you the quick version and some fun facts!

I am Stephanie. I have been married to my husband for 11 years and we have two beautiful girls (Big Chick and Little Chick). I've been blogging for about 8 years off and on, you can see more about that here. Blogging actually led me to owning my own business. I worked full time for a printing company in both their yearbook and commercial departments. I was lucky enough to be given a part time schedule after Big Chick was born. After some management changes and Little Chick's birth that offer was rescinded. I knew I could not work full time, I wanted to be with my babies, so I started my own business designing websites and blogs! It's been a crazy, fun experience and I've learned a lot. It's definitely a balancing act, but I really love it and I love even more that I get to be home with my girls while still contributing to the family financially.

I love driving with the windows down, the more wind the better. I listen to music loudly- maybe too loud. I could live in the pool, I love swimming. I enjoy baking, I wish I had more time to be creative with it. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I watch ALL the Christmas movies. I like wrapping gifts. I love Romantic Comedies both in books and movies. I love reruns and old shows, I am currently rewatching the entire Cheers series. I love making lists. I love throwing parties. I love my Starbucks in the morning, or really any time of day. I watch too much reality television. I hate onions, horror movies, horror movie commercials/previews, banana flavoring, exercising, dishonesty, and group projects.

5 things my you may not know:

  1. I was named after my Aunt, my mom's sister, but my mom also threw her name in there for my middle name. So I have both of their names and both of their crazy! 😁
  2. I played the viola daily for 9 years. I traveled to Austria and Germany in high school playing with a youth orchestra and I loved it! I played a few months ago and I was surprised that I still remembered after not playing for probably 5 years. It was fun!
  3. My degree is actually in teaching, but I hate teaching! I don't know what I was thinking. If I had it to do over again I would get a degree in coding and graphic design.
  4. Everything I know about graphic/web design is self/tutorial taught. I watched a lot of videos, read a ton of tutorials and just experimented. I am really good at self-learning. I had a terrible math teacher in college and basically taught myself the class and got an A 😊 #humblebrag
  5. I tend to laugh really loud, I kind of like that about me. I used to be embarrassed about it, but I got over it when I realized it made me different.
